Shamirpet Lake, Hyderabad

The Tourist Complex of A.P. Tourism at Shamirpet is located at the vicinity of the man-made Jawahar Lake, which is 27 Kms away from Secunderabad on the Hyderabad-Karimnagar road. The complex has 12 cottages (tariff A/c Doubt Room Rs.300/- on weekdays and Rs.350/- on holidays, non A/c Double Room Rs.225/- on weekdays and Rs.250/- on holidays) and restaurant. An enchanting picnic spot, it has an adjoining deer park run by the Forest Department.
