Membership Guidelines

Guidelines

  • Any Telugu related page is eligible to join the WebRing.
  • All member pages should carry a fragment of HTML Code in the registered page. Once you register your page for membership, the required HTML Code to insert into the page will be provided to you.
  • Sites are added to the WebRing once the code is placed on the registered page correctly.

Navigation Palette: Rules of placement

  1. The best page in your site should be registered and the code should be placed in the registered page. The best page is usually the page with links to all your sub-page, your guest book e-mail, etc. This page should have an identity of its own and should not be the sub page of some main page.
  2. We prefer you to put the code at the bottom end of your homepage.
  3. If you have multiple pages, please feel free to register them also.
  4. The code should not be pasted in an entry/door page. Entry page is a page that shows a link called "Enter" or a graphic "Click Here" or simply a door page to the actual site with few link/content in it.
  5. Code should not be pasted in a page specially for webrings with other WebRing codes cluttered into one page. We do not allow such practice as such a placement will only absorb traffic and does not really contribute traffic to WebRing.
  6.  Empty pages, Sites which are difficult to read or access, are not allowed.
  7. You are allowed to modify the code to suite your page format. However all the links of the palette must be present in your page together at one place.
  8. FRAME PAGES: paste the code in the visible part of the frame set.
  9. If you want to register multiple sites, you are encouraged to do so, to maximize the traffic to your site. However, you have to register each site and get the code for each page.
  10. Please note that code is page specific. The code for one page can not be used for another page as the ID is different for each page. Get code for each page separately by registering each page.
  11. Only one code per page is allowed.  Do not insert two WebRing palette with two different ID in the same page as it may create a loop.
  12. Sites with improper/unpleasant themes will be rejected.
