His conspicuous love for Telangana has also worried the TD, which has always taken a consistent stand favouring United Andhra. Many senior TD leaders are sceptical about Mr Gouds moves. His tour to Yadagirigutta under the guise of fulfilling a vow has created ripples in the party. There is a strong feeling that Mr Goud had deliberately leaked information about his private pilgrimage with a herd of fellow Telangana leaders to the media. Some TD leaders suspect that Mr Goud is preparing ground to move out of the TD and raising a separate Telangana banner. We cannot rule it out since he is very intelligent, said a senior leader.
