States warned of LeT threat

The State government has stepped up the security measures in the wake of fresh warnings from the Center of possible terror threats by the LeT in the southern States.

Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu have been alerted based on intelligence inputs.

The alert comes in the wake of the recent release of the LeT Chief Hafiz Saeed by Pakistan, the key suspect behind the 26/11 terrror attacks which was strongly objected by India.
