YSR seeks Center aid on projects

In his second term, Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy is hopeful of getting more financial aid from theis mainly focussed on the two irrigation projects at Polavaram and Pranahitha which the State has sought for national status.

Asserting that his govt would continue with the current projects, he pointed out there was no plans for any other major schemes to be introduced at this stage. The CM was speaking during a press meet, the first being organised after him taking charge.
