Deccan Chargers are IPL champions

This year IPL matches saw some surprise twists in the semifinals with the underdogs eventually turning out favaourites of the game.

And it was not less in the finals as the Royal Challengers Bangalore clashed with the Hyderabad's Deccan Chargers to give some thrilling moments.

With RCB skipper Kumble spearheading the bowling attack (4/16), Deccan Chargers were reduced to  143 for six in 20 overs.

Royal Challengers who came to bat second saw some poor batting action which helped  Deccan Chargers emerge as the champions, winning for just 6 runs in the IPL second season held in South Africa.
